Cats and birds don't usually get along, and there are perfectly reasonable reasons for that, that is true. But it's not true for all. We have seen a cat play with a gorgeous massive owl. We have seen a cat gently babysit a chicken's chicks. We have even seen a story about a 17-year-old cat and a 40-year-old cockatoo being best friends. It can happen. Cats and birds can get along. They just have to choose one another, and when they do… it's meowgical.

It's just that the mischievous personality of cats mixed with the playful personality of some birds makes them into the funniest duos sometimes, and we like seeing these friendships in any combination. Parrots, owls, crows… or magpies. And this cat plus magpie due is one of the funniest that we have seen in a long time - playful, silly and all around adorable. We can't wait for the Disney movie.
