Woman Calls Out Wedding Guests For Being Racist Then Makes A Quick Exit

We're not always going to be placed at the tables that are the best fit for us at weddings. We generally want to be placed with people around our age so that we'll have lots in common to chat about, but unfortunately, we're not in charge of organizing the wedding guests. That's up to the bride and groom. If we're not into what they decide, at least we can mosey on over to the open bar to get through the conversations that don't interest us whatsoever. In today's 'Am I the A$$hole?' post, OP was actually placed with her group of friends, but she still didn't like the topic of conversation at the table. One of her friends' boyfriends made a racist joke that the whole table except OP laughed at. She didn't laugh because she didn't find it funny at all, and called out the guy who told the joke, which obviously made him uncomfortable. After she left, many people in the friend group texted her that she made everyone at the table uncomfortable and it was uncalled for, but Redditors think she was in the right to call them out for their racism.
