Too Cute To Handle - Dwarf Flying Squirrels Explode Over Insta (22 Pictures)

We recently published a post about how Japanese cats may be cuter than American cats and the jury is still out on that one. However, these Siberian flying squirrels and dwarf flying squirrels in Japan definitely take the cake. When you think of squirrels, you probably think of dirty little rascals following you on the sidewalk, waiting to steal a piece of your hotdog, or rambunctious terrors stealing food from your bird feeder, and/or eating your Halloween pumpkins. But these tiny, chonky floofers have eyes that are saying "please feed me" and believe us, we couldn't resist.

These squirrels stole our hearts and we wish we could just take them all home and snuggle with them forever and ever. They look so cozy in their fur (we know this sounds very Cruella de Vil, but we promise it's not the vibe), and it gives us perfect #wintervibes. The perfect pairing with a hot chocolate and a fuzzy winter blanket….not made of their fur. Promise.

Look at this tiny, floofy, snowy fluffball! We're obsessed. He just looks so ready to snuggle up on that little branch, don't you think so? We'd walk around with him on our shoulder, sharing a bag of almonds (or whatever nuts he likes best), or just curling up on the couch and watching some Animal Planet!
