Cats are highly independent creatures. You can keep them in line (somewhat) by keeping them inside, but if you let them out, understand that they will use their freedom to use every person around them to their own benefit. Not once and not twice have we heard about an outdoor cat breaking into a neighbor's house and making themselves at home. Not once and not twice have we seen the baffled "it's not my cat" posts. Give a cat freedom, and it will use it. Your cat might even rob a grocery store, who knows? 

The couple in this video didn't seem to understand the concept of cat freedom though. So, when they discovered their cat chilling at a neighbor's house… well, let's just say that things escalated. A whole debate was sparked on twitter about who is right, and we're honestly not sure in this situation. But we will say… it made for a really funny viral video.
