I worked in a pizza place all of college, I graduated over a decade ago and I still have nightmares about working a shift… The things you experience can't happen in any other job. You learn how to either deal with a Karen or spot one out a mile away so you can avoid them. You learn how to fold clothes fast and perfectly. Or you learn how to calculate 20% tip as fast as lightning in your head. The best thing working at these kinds of places, however, is that you learn just how many stupid and entitled people there really are out there. No more blissful unawareness of humanity.
