Back to school is when mom Facebook groups have the most annoying and useless practical questions, but Thanksgiving and Christmas are when you can deep dive into the drama of their personal family dynamics. Any day now, you'll start regularly seeing posters asking, "Is my 7-year-old too young to get an iPhone for Christmas?" or "How do you tell your mother-in-law that her Turkey is dry and rancid without offending her?" or "Why do the holidays always fill me with a sense of dread comparable to the dread I feel before a 10-hour flight?" If you want to stick your nose into anonymous people's business, these parenting posts are for you.
