Who you choose not to invite to your wedding is almost as important as the people you do invite. At the end of the day, it's your big event, and you have the right to select the people in your community who will be the most supportive of you and your spouse. Of course, bridges may be burned in the process, but we're of the opinion that these decisions are not necessarily acts of pettiness. 

For instance, this woman's cousin had demonstrated enough evidence to the fact that she was narcissistic and unsupportive, particularly when it came to this woman's relationship. After an awkward and deeply uncomfortable encounter at a family BBQ, in which the cousin thought it would be fun to fabricate drama so as to jeopardize and potentially sabotage the author's relationship with her now-fiancé, the author felt that her cousin would not be a welcome presence at her wedding. This, of course, ignited even more family drama…
