‘My petty self decided that the $250 charge wasn't enough': Entitled guest wrecks hotel room and throws a tantrum, concierge gets her banned and turned into her family's pariah

When a family member is going out of their way to risk their job and hook you up with a discount, you better be the most respectful customer in the entire world. When you're not, something like this Reddit story can happen. 

A hotel employee gave a family member his "friends and family" discount so she could book a cheaper room. However, she ended up completely trashing the room in the most disgusting way. The cleaning staff had to spend an extra 2 hours just to clean it up. When she was charged for those extra hours, she called in furious and threw a top-level Karen tantrum. The concierge stood his ground and hung up. But they didn't stop there, they took it to an even higher manager and got her not only banned from the hotel, but got the family member who was staff in trouble, thus making her entire family hate her for almost getting their other family member fired.
