Update: 'They didn't notice my phone was recording': Parents discover their 18-year-old posted social media videos about them, family stages an intervention

After a few social media videos were posted, an entire family was forced to confront the issues between their kids. 

This older brother was curious if he was in the wrong for exposing his parent's favoritism. He writes that he's basically always been in competition with his brother, and it's not like their parents even tried to hide it from them. One example he gave is that his parents paid for his brother's college education because he "needs more help." But when it comes to their own tuition, u/just-a-big-brother is out of luck. He's taking a gap year to save up money for school, but his parents are paying for little bro to go to college in secret!

This person was so outraged to discover the deception that he started recording a video, secretly capturing the whole conversation. And, as is becoming increasingly common these days, he made a few social media videos. He called out his parents, ranted a bit, then posted them.
